Service Project
Driving for Diabetes - 14 June 2014 - This is a fun day for a great cause. Email Danny with questions.

We need a service chair! Please let Frank know if you would like to head this amazing committee, and to help organize service opportunities for July and August.
We also need a representative from our club to sit on the District’s Polio Committee. They are planning a big promotion around Rotary Week (ending 25 October 2014) and they need our help!

Socials
Saturday, June 21: Stephanie is hosting a BBQ at her home, starting at 6:30pm.  Please BYOB and email her with what appetizer/side/dessert you'll be bringing.

Saturday, July 12: Installation Late Brunch/Brinner will be held at the Dodo at 2:00.

Saturday, August 9: Lawn and Swim Party at Linda's!  Party will start at 6pm. Please let Linda know if you have any lawn games to bring. More details to come.

RYLA
We are sponsoring two kids this year, giving them the option of contributing $50 or participating in two service projects.

Wine into Water Update
We briefly discussed alternative dates and locations, due to numerous members unavailability for our original date.  We will continue to discuss next week at Stephanie's.
Judy is looking for someone to chair the Silent Auction.  Also, everyone should start thinking about what item you can donate for the silent auction (we are going to keep it small at 20 quality items).

Presentation by Francisco Soto – Hispano-Latino Rotary Club
Francisco gave a wonderful presentation on their ongoing project "Casa Hogar La Paz," a home for elderly residents of Guanajuato, Mexico.  Our club is interested in helping by collecting monetary or in-kind donations (bedding, canes, adult diapers, dishes, hygiene kits, etc).  A proposal to our club was made to join the Hispano-Latino Club in a trip to this area of Mexico to visit Casa Hogar La Paz!  Sounds like a great opportunity!

Member Updates / Happy Bucks
Chas presented updates on The Draw, the Parley's Trail and Tunnel.  Contact him to make donations to help complete the artwork elements of this project.

Miriam showed pictures and updated us on the water project in Cambodia that we helped sponsor with our Wine into Water fundraiser!
She is proposing that this year's funds help us partner with the Rotary Club of Logan to fund a well in Peru.  She also discussed the possibility of a trip to Peru, in December 2015 (roughly $2500)!
