Nobody would be bragging about the Greatest Snow On Earth if
all we did was shovel the stuff. You gotta get out and play in it from time to
time, and February's social is one of those times.
On Sunday, February 21 we'll head to the fabulous ski
runs and trails of Solitude Mountain Resort. While Solitude's alpine
slopes are well known, they also offer 20 km of groomed cross country trails
and 10 km of snowshoe trails. So even if you or your spouse is not a skier
or snowboarder, there are still plenty of outstanding recreation
options. If we pre-purchase at least 20 lift tickets our rate is only
$63/ticket. Not sure if you can make it the 21st? Your lift ticket is
valid any day of the year, meaning there's really no risk in
committing.
Cross country passes are $18 and snowshoe
passes are $5, which can be purchased at the mountain. Solitude also offers
equipment rentals, lessons and/or hour long guided tours. http://skisolitude.com/
Regardless of which activity you choose, let's meet for
lunch at the Honeycomb Grill in Solitude's main village . I
need to provide a headcount in order to make a reservation for our group.
Again, please reply with the number of alpine lift
tickets and number of people for lunch by Feb. 1. Call or email me if you have
any questions.
Cheers!
