2. Business Items:
a) Cottonwood Club Update/Frank, Judy and Susan – Frank has been able to negotiate a $12.00 per person rate with the Cottonwood Country Club for another year. Members agreed this is a reasonable price and we will continue our business meetings here for this year and then revisit it.
b) Club T-Shirt Final Design/Jayne – shared the final design with the group. The price will be $15.00 per member. Each member will cover their own cost that Danny will figure out how to process as treasurer. Jayne will send out a sign-up sheet for sizes.
c) Rock Rotary Club Update/Shannon – Rock Rotary Club members will visit our club’s business meeting on Thursday, March 1, 2018. Shannon is working on a way to set up a mentorship with this club and figure out how our club can assist them to be a successful club.
d) Propose Bylaws Update/Frank and Susan – Club to add an additional $25.00 to the current $15.00 admission fee to new members going forward. This additional fee is to help cover costs of potential short falls in the budget or members leaving the club with their dues in a rear. It will be a slush fund that will help insure the club does not fall short on our foundation contribution etc. Frank wants to look at a new dues structure. He will discuss it with the board.
