In March, we visited The Ridge senior living center and interviewed several residents about their lives. The residents enjoyed participating and the Rotarians had the utmost pleasure of engaging in one-to-one, hour long conversations. We heard some fascinating stories! We then wrote down the stories and sent them to the Director of The Ridge, who has forwarded the stories to the individual residents. Some Rotarians also recorded their senior friends in audio files. We look forward to sharing in this type of activity again.
We are a non-traditional, socially interactive Rotary Club that provides opportunities to serve our local and international communities. We value diversity, youth, improving lives, empowering communities, networking and having fun!
