June 7, 2012 - Rotary Club of Millcreek Retreat Notes

A big thank you to Kim Williams for taking us through a vision and strategic priority session - what a productive night!

Members attending: Christine Casper, Margareta Vlasic, Judy Zone, Jennie Ferguson, Mustafa Celebi, Ken Klinger, Jason Collier, Paul Halliday, Laurie Summers-Pisani, Sonia Woodbury, Miriam Kramer, Ladd Tanner, Kim Williams, Bill Kille, Peter Ingle, Linda Book

We went through several vision and discussion items to craft the following vision for the Rotary Club of Millcreek:

We are a non-traditional, socially interactive Rotary Club that provides opportunities to serve our local and international community.  We value diversity, youth, improving lives, empowering communities, networking, and having fun.

Ladd Tanner sent a copy of the strategic priorities to each member via e-mail on Friday, June 8.  Please read through our priorities for the Rotary Fiscal Year - July 1, 2012 - June 30, 2013.  In summary, the priorities are:
  1. Empower our Rotary Club
  2. Community and International Service including youth service
  3. Fundraising
We set annual goals under each of the priorities above and committees will now work to assign timelines, measurements and team members.

We are on a roll!

Please join us for our next meeting at 5:15 on June 14 at Cafe Madrid.  See you there.
